I am not even going to bother to make this look nice.

To tell you a little bit more about myself, I can share that nearly a year ago I had a newborn baby and my husband and I were really struggling to make ends meet. I started to look for work online, and I am now able to make a very decent income as a writer. The thing is, topics are not that interesting, payments can take a lot to be processed and, even when I am able to set my schedules and work from home, I need to invest long hours to make things happen.
So, tonight, I am trying to find inspiration online. It has been over six months since I came up with a startup idea, which I still believe will be successful. But the path to build a business has not been so easy, and my business model is nothing but a few pieces of paper that I read from time to time, wondering how to make it happen.
As I search online for information on successful internet businesses, I am trying to come up with something like a magic recipe. I am trying to find out if I can make things happen with very few resources and a lot of information. As far as I know, a successful business means a substantial investment of money and time. But, what if it doesn’t? What if it is only about hitting a spot, about having enough information to make something happen from virtually nothing?
The first website in which I find true inspiration is Tim Ferris’ blog. It seems to me that Tim has found some insights that are making a lot of people’s lives easier and better. This is a truly great starting point. But, even when the stories shared on Tim’s blog are true examples of the possibility of living a dream life, what they had to invest still seems out of my league. With lots of bills to pay in the coming week, I am determined to find some kind of miracle. If you are reading me, you may be thinking I am crazy, lazy and far from reality. But, what if I am not?
The face of the business world has changed so drastically during the past few years that I truly believe we are not really aware of the possibilities it brings. We are able to connect with a lot of people in so little time, we can ask about stuff, we can send messages, we can find information… the list would be endless. So my little one-night experiment is based on some wacky premises:
1)      All my business research can be done just using the internet.
2)      My aim is to raise money to build my startup, and to do it in less than 24 hours.
3)      I don’t even need to tell people what that startup idea is.
4)      I have nothing to lose.
5)      I can get a lot of people to join a cause and fund me, if I find a truly creative way to present information.
6)      All I need is the right channel.
My search terms so far have been:
ü  24 hour success companies (bad)
ü  The secret to online success (bad)
ü  High paying internet businesses (more-or-less)
ü  Fastest funded kickstarter projects (more or less)
ü  Timothy Ferriss (better)

Forums are a great way to find insights into what other people are doing to make money online, but after a few clicks I feel discouraged. They all state that it is impossible. I know that I am not making a lot of sense here, and I know that it may seem as a non-stop blah blah blah about everything I find out on my crazy endeavor, but, who knows? I might be on to something…

I just found a quote by Jay Abraham stating that “It is all about your liberated sense of possibility, nothing more” which inspires me to keep going. Will my sense of possibility (I’m currently like in a high of that sense) make me raise money in one night? Can I accomplish something just by believing I can? There is possibly no
one reading me so far, so I will continue with this crazy experiment and posting every time I find some new insights. If you are reading me and want to help my cause, just leave a comment.
